Connecting Dots

pigeon exhibition

Welcome to the walkthrough gallery of pigeons that I have collected over the course of the last few years. I've been told this is a peculiar hobby, but I believe pigeons are underrated - they all have cool little patterns and they look completely different. And if funky pigeons aren't enough to motivate you to take notice, in my experience, it changes the way you see details in the midst of the unrelenting habits of day-to-day life. Things aren't as monotonous as you think, and pigeons are a testament to that.

These pigeons turned up on the hottest day of the year. Shortly after this snapshot, they flew into the river and I'd never wanted to be a pigeon more than that moment. An ice cream had to suffice.

Probably the most pigeons I've seen in one place, ever. Someone was feeding them seeds and I don't think I've seen even a dog half as excited as these pigeons. I hope they're still living on that high.
